چکیده

Two-dimensional exchange Cl nuclear quadrupole resonance spectroscopy for studies of the CCl3-group reorientation processes in hexachloroethane and chloral hydrate has been applied. Experimental results were interpreted on the basis of the 2D exchange nuclear quadrupole resonance theory, which takes into account the off-resonance irradiation. It has been demonstrated that 2D nuclear quadrupole resonance exchange spectroscopy is appropriate for quantitative studies of exchange processes in molecular crystals containing quadrupolar nuclei. The method is of particular value for the detection of exchange networks in systems with many sites. Thus, detailed information on the exchange pathways within a network of structural isomers can be deduced and a proper assignment of the nuclear quadrupole resonance lines can be made. Temperature dependence of the exchange rate was studied. The mixing dynamics by exchange and the expected cross-peak intensities have been derived.

Studies of Interaction between Propranolol and Human Serum Albumin in the Presence of DMMP by Molecular Spectroscopy and Molecular Dynamics Simulation

The interaction between propranolol (PROP) and human serum albumin (HSA) was studied in the presence of dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP). DMMP is usually considered as a simulant for chemical warfare agents (CWAs). For this purpose fluorescence quenching, resonance light scattering (RLS), synchronous, three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy and molecular dynamics (MD) simulation were emplo...

Multidimensional NQR: Imaging and Exchange Spectroscopy*

In this context a "dimension" can be of a spatial or of a spectroscopic nature. In the last two decades, multidimensional nuclear magnetic resonance and imaging have proven to be most useful tools for the investigation of materials. It turned out that some of these measuring principles can be applied to zero-field N Q R as well. The purpose of this presentation is to elucidate twodimensional ex...
